today, on International Students’ Day, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine finally passed law 404 — the one that obliges internet providers to monitor users: where we go and what we look at. I hadn’t paid much attention to this law, because I didn’t believe it would actually pass — its content is too absurd and obviously KGB-flavored. Yet today it passed after all.
