&lt;li&gt;easy to use&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;if lost/misplaced/stolen prematurely — it is not dangerous (meaning it is encrypted)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;guaranteed to work years from now — software availability, architecture compatibility, etc. — does it need to be a self-contained device that only needs power, a password, and a screen?&lt;/li&gt;
