notes

Starting a series of short factual articles โ€” notes.

Another trip to the dentist.

Strawberries are available to buy โ€” they’ve been selling them for a while now, looks like the nitrate season has passed.

Looking for a single-strap EDC universal backpack and tactical tough-but-not-hot pants. No luck so far.

Goodbye, LJ!

While looking for a way to archive the journal, I fell into the classic trap: when you start tidying up and throwing out old things โ€” the main thing is not to start browsing through them))) It was so interesting to look back at my old posts and see the comments โ€” would you believe it! Real, live people were reading me (and even replying!!!!). Thank you, friends) I recognize you even in anonymous comments, by the words and the warmth I feel from those words) This sandcastle will stand a little longer โ€” just in case some old friend still has an RSS client running โ€” and then it will finally make room for something new. I’m not a fan of marking my thoughts and significant events in social networks, and lately I haven’t been writing in blogs either. But if anyone does want to catch up on my news โ€” you’re more likely to find it on the blog at http://disfinder.com & http://p.disfinder.com than on Facebook. So long, everyone, and until we meet again. Thanks for not changing the channel)

Dropping LiveJournal

So much has changed over the years of having that LiveJournal page…. Moving back to the homeland and back again. And another move. More moves that never got written about. Buying real estate and movable property. Significant and pleasant career changes, and even more significant โ€” but far from pleasant โ€” geopolitical changes….

android popups

After every call, popups started appearing offering to install Facebook or Yandex.Taxi. I read around online โ€” people write that a lot of junk like this comes pre-installed in the phone’s firmware.

I decided to check one suspect โ€” TouchPal โ€” as what seemed to me the most brazen app. I blocked its access to calls โ€” the popups seem to have stopped for now. I’ll keep watching.
